Published some days ago: “Alexander the Great: An Untold Story” by Joseph Starman

Good day I’m Elena, thanks for reading Alessandro III di Macedonia! Happy Sunday and today I’ve a new publication to announce you!

Alexander the Great: An Untold Story

by Joseph Starman

Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (Independently Published) 2023

This is a story of the unknown Alexander the Great. It is set in a palace within a walled city that has capitulated to him and his army. The book is set mostly within the palace. It takes you through his dealings with His love life and the love life of others The sex he has, the murders he commits and the killings he arranges to happen. There is intrigue and lies, there is fun and good times.
The book shows a different side of a Great Ruler to the one the world knows about. This book tells of him having power in a nice way with those he trusts. It also shows how a fighting man who led from the front could also be a warm-hearted man to those he liked. Those against him did not live very long. The book shows how Alexander managed to do so much in such a short time.
In the history that we know of Alexander he would fight and move. He would take cities without fighting for they gave way to him. He kept moving, not staying in any city he conquered. So in this story, he wishes to move on; so those in power when he arrived must bow to his will. He must make sure before he leaves that whoever he leaves behind to run ‘His city’ is worthy of the job and can be trusted. He would only leave people in power once he has gone if he could trust them.

Joseph Starman. I am 80 years old and have written several unfinished books. Because of the way this book came into being; it has given me the momentum to get my other books finished and into print before I go to the happy hunting ground. I have psychic abilities that include healing. I also channel words that come into my mind. At no point while writing this book did I need to sit and think what to write. Each time I came to write there was the next part in my head. This was all the way through. To tell the truth, as I was writing I was also reading a book that I had no idea what would happen next; that’s the truth.

The Amazon page from which we can purchase the book also reports this otherslightly different description:

This is a story of the unknown side of Alexander the Great. It is set in a palace within a walled city that has capitulated to him and his army. The book is set mostly within the palace. It takes you through his love life and the love life of others in the palace. The sex he has, the murders he commits and the killings he arranges to happen. So if you want a story to read with sex romance, passion, intrigue, desire and love; then this is the book for you. If you want a story that twists and turns with murder, poisoning, fighting, lies and deceit. Then this is definitely the book for you.

Besides all the drama this is a story showing ‘I feel’ why Alexander was able to conquer half the known world before he was twenty-eight. The book shows his character and how he helps those he trusts and kills those against him. There was no in-between for him. His way or no way.

This is not a book of a bloodthirsty rampage through a palace. It is a story that shows how a man who is known by the world to be a killing machine, is to those around him kind, helpful and giving. I feel the true character of Alexander comes out in this book. In truth, I know it does because at no time did I have to think what to write. It was just there in my head each time I sat to write. I put this down to my psychic abilities either writing from a subconscious memory or channelling from another world.

I have no idea what book it is: I tried to understand more by reading the Introduction but there the author rather than presenting the text presents himself and repeats more or less what is written on the back cover but adds an extra element: he believes in reincarnation and believes he was Alexander the Great in a past life. Well what can I say… let’s see if this modern reincarnated Alexander the Great will tell us something new and surprising or if it’s a little book like many that just wants to talk about Alexander in a superficial way, just to talk about him. Amazon is full of books like this and I dream of writing about him too but I’m too afraid to write yet another stupid thing about him, which unfortunately happens often. But before giving opinions you need to read it and I will definitely give it a chance.

Only note: from what appears on Amazon the two editions have different covers and this would appear to be that of the Kindle format.

I will buy it in the next few days, because it doesn’t cost much anyway, and from a quick glance at the book I will understand whether it is worth reading immediately or not.

Keep following me, have a nice day
