Good morning everyone I’m Elena, I’m writing you from Italy and thank you for reading me once again because you are on Alessandro III di Macedonia- your source about Alexander the Great and Hellenism!
I’m writing you because yesterday I received what I call “one of my madnesses” about Alexander the Great because… Well now you’ll understand. On November 12th I announced you about the release of the Karol Bunsch’s Trylogia antyczna, trilogy published in Polish by the publisher Wydawnictwo SBM. In the following days I did some research on this trilogy and I was very much tempted to buy it. I didn’t know how I’d be able to read it but I knew that with a lot of effort I would be able to read it in one way or another. Maybe not with an excellent translation but at least I’d have definitely understood the meaning of the speech and the dialogues. My madness about Alexander the Great was to buy the trilogy in a printed edition, in Polish language (that I don’t know at all!), yesterday I received the package and I have to say that fifteen days later exactly I received the one that on November 15th I decided to buy with many doubts but with the idea that sooner or later I’d be able to read what is the most important trilogy on Alexander the Great written by a Polish author. And now I have it and I’ll can read it.
When I bought the printed edition of these three books I wasn’t sure I could found the digital edition to do an English or Italian translation much faster than I’d have had done using the printed but luckily I managed to find it and even if I won’t read the books I bought you directly, I’ll still be able to “read” them. I have no idea about the standards of publishing books in Polish but I have to tell you that this edition is very beautiful, the pictures and the video I took don’t do it justice, but I assure you it’s a wonderful hardcover edition.
If I piqued your curiosity you can first read the other article I published with the plot and information on the various books and then if you are interested, or you’re a little crazy like me, you can buy them on Amazon because the trilogy is available there too.
Needless to say, I’d love it if one day this trilogy would finally translated into Italian because I believe it deserves to be read, appreciated and loved by these readers too. So Italian publishers, publish the Trilogia Antica by Karol Bunsch!
I leave you for now, hoping to give you soon new useful information on Alexander, because in my small way I hope in some way to help and make this great character known a little more. I can tell you that I’m dedicating myself at the moment to writing not one but two books on Alexander and I hope that with the Christmas holidays I’ll can dedicate myself to them with more time because it would be my dream to release both books in 2025 but unfortunately it’s still too early to say if I will actually be able to do it.

Buongiorno a tutti sono Elena, vi scrivo dall’Italia e vi ringrazio di leggermi ancora una volta perché siete su Alessandro III di Macedonia, la vostra fonte su Alessandro Magno e l’Ellenismo!
Vi scrivo perché ieri ho ricevuto quella che chiamo “una delle mie pazzie” su Alessandro Magno perché… Bene, ora capirete. Il 12 novembre ho annunciato l’uscita della Trylogia antyczna di Karol Bunsch, trilogia pubblicata in polacco dall’editore Wydawnictwo SBM. Nei giorni successivi ho fatto delle ricerche su questa trilogia e sono stata molto tentata di acquistarla. Non sapevo come avrei potuto leggerla ma sapevo che con molto impegno ci sarei riuscita, in un modo o nell’altro. Forse non con una traduzione eccellente, ma almeno avrei sicuramente capito il senso del discorso e dei dialoghi. La mia follia su Alessandro Magno era quella di acquistare la trilogia in edizione cartacea, in lingua polacca (che non conosco affatto!), ieri ho ricevuto il pacco e devo dire che, esattamente quindici giorni dopo ho ricevuto quello che il 15 novembre avevo deciso di acquistare con molti dubbi ma con l’idea che prima o poi avrei potuto leggere quella che è la trilogia più importante su Alessandro Magno scritta da un autore polacco. E adesso ce l’ho e potrò leggerla.
Quando ho acquistato l’edizione cartacea di questi tre libri non ero sicura di riuscire a trovare l’edizione digitale per fare una traduzione in inglese o in italiano molto più velocemente di quanto avrei impiegato usando la versione cartacea, ma fortunatamente sono riuscita a trovarla e anche se non leggerò direttamente i libri che ho acquistato, sarò comunque in grado di “leggerli”. Non ho idea degli standard di pubblicazione dei libri in polacco, ma devo dire che questa edizione è molto bella, le foto e il video che ho girato non le rendono giustizia, ma vi assicuro che è una meravigliosa edizione con copertina rigida.
Se ho stuzzicato la vostra curiosità potete innanzitutto leggere l’altro articolo che ho pubblicato con la trama e le informazioni sui vari libri e poi se vi interessa, o siete un po’ pazzi come me, potete acquistarli su Amazon perché la trilogia è disponibile anche lì.
Inutile dire che mi piacerebbe tanto se un giorno questa trilogia fosse finalmente tradotta anche in italiano perché credo che meriti di essere letta, apprezzata e amata anche da questi lettori. Quindi editori italiani, pubblicate la Trilogia Antica di Karol Bunsch!
Vi lascio per ora, sperando di darvi presto nuove informazioni utili su Alessandro, perché nel mio piccolo spero in qualche modo di aiutare e far conoscere un po’ di più questo grande personaggio. Vi posso dire che mi sto dedicando in questo momento alla scrittura non di uno ma di due libri su Alessandro e spero che con le vacanze di Natale potrò dedicarmici con più tempo perché sarebbe un mio sogno pubblicare entrambi i libri nel 2025 ma purtroppo è ancora troppo presto per dire se effettivamente riuscirò a farlo.
