I tell you the truth, as soon as I saw this book I immediately thought about buying it, because RBA and in general the History magazine are always a guarantee of quality and excellent general information. But then I saw that it is edited by different authors and I had a doubt about its contents. A few years ago a series dedicated to Greece and Rome by various authors was also published in Italian with different volumes dedicated to Alexander the Great. I don’t know, and I would really like to know, if the contents of this book are new and unpublished or if they are taken from that old series because if it were the first case I would buy it more than willingly I want to read it, but in the second case I would prefer to avoid this purchase because I already have those volumes in Italian.

In the second case, however, anyone who missed that series which came out on newsstands a few years ago would thus have the opportunity to have it.

Update of October 17th!

Amazon now published the digital preview of the book and from the colophon we read that the texts are those previously released with the single volumes of the Grecia e Roma: gli episodi decisivi series. With the addition of this information I won’t buy the volume because at this point I can say that is a collection of volumes already published previously and I don’t buy them in Spanish since I have the Italian edition. However, for those who missed the series can think about buying the book and it would be an economical way to recover those releases.
