Good day everyone, I’m Elena from Italy and thanks for being on Alessandro III di Macedonia- your resource on Alexander the Great and Hellenism.
Today I’m sharing with you more photos of a gadget I really like for several reasons. Driven by the enthusiasm of seeing, every day and several times a day, the print of the Mosaic of Alexander the Great, I wanted to take another one to admire. So I searched on the web and found this print measuring 40 x 60 cm (15.74 x 23.62 inches) which struck me straight away.
The statue of Alexander Helios on display at the Capitoline Museums in Rome is one of the most beautiful of Alexander the Great: it’s not necessarily the most faithful but is one of those that fascinates me the most. Plus what I really like about this print are the colors and spots that highlight the photo. Blue, in its various shades, is my favorite color.

Added to this is the very affordable price of the print made on canvas, at least that’s what the description on the website’s seller says, but in my opinion it’s a kind of laminated canvas. Anyway the price is really excellent and if you aren’t looking for a designer reproduction but something more contemporary this is beautiful! Keep in mind that I spent more on the frame than on the print!

The only flaw is a line in the lower left part which I thought was an error in the demonstration photo on the website but this line is also present in the final print. From afar, however, you cannot notice it, you can only see it if you look closely at the painting and look for all the details.
I’ll have two more prints to show you soon because I just bought them.
Similar objects are very impactful and I think Alexander the Great enthusiasts like me will like them.
Have a good weekend,
See you soon
