“Just as Mozart is to Music, and Einstein is to Physics, so is Alexander to Strategy.”
PhD. Rufus Fears.

  • What was the secret knowledge of Alexander the Great, the greatest strategist of all time?
  • How can this ancient wisdom be applied in modern times, in one’s career, business, sports, and personal life?
  • What do Sun-Tzu, Steve Jobs, and Mike Tyson have in common?

Here is an innovative book on Strategy like no other, which will reveal to you an ancient wisdom that has been carefully guarded by exclusive circles and considered a secret from time immemorial. With historical rigor, in-depth analysis, and supported by the extensive research of the influential strategist of the 20th century, Sir Basil Liddell Hart, Manuel Bogado provides you with the Fundamental Principles of Strategic Thinking, a timeless knowledge that was passed on to the greatest of all conquerors. Entrepreneurs, professionals, leaders, athletes, strategy students, and history enthusiasts will find in these pages an endless source of strategic wisdom.

But make no mistake, this is not the typical “motivational” and superficial book that promises wealth, power, or fame. It is a deep, realistic, ethical, and indispensable guide, backed by historical evidence, reason, common sense, and it arrives just when the 21st century needs it most. If used with prudence and self-awareness, it will help you avoid unnecessary mistakes, achieve countless victories, and open the possibility of enjoying a balanced life and the true prosperity that comes through wisdom. In its pages, you will gain a profound understanding of what the Greeks called Strategy and be introduced to the concept of Grand Strategy, the Five Strategic Wisdoms, and the Essential Strategic Principle, the very essence of all good strategy.

Amidst a desert of passing trends, shallow ideas, and a multitude of self-proclaimed gurus, this book is an oasis of timeless conceptual tools. You will access genuinely different knowledge that is mature and robust like an ancient oak, tried and tested over millennia. Such rarity represents a tremendous opportunity.

Sun-Tzu said, “Opportunities multiply as they are seized.” And now, you have the opportunity to discover the Fundamental Principles of one of the most decisive Arts: Strategy.

These pages contain the raw material for personal transformation and the establishment of a solid foundation for decision-making in all aspects of life. Because the science of life is the supreme science, and the art of living, the best of arts.

IMPORTANT: This knowledge comes with caveats, as everything related to human beings does, because when this knowledge has been used by egocentric individuals and taken to the extreme, it has caused the self-destruction of many. Powerful and highly ambitious individuals, but also countless anonymous individuals relatively devoid of great talents, have achieved great victories through what you will learn in this book. But not a few have become enamored of their own successes and ended up destroying themselves, their countries, organizations, teams, and families.

“Greater knowledge must lead to an expansion in generosity, kindness, and justice. Only those lost in darkness see the increase in knowledge as an opportunity to increase their greed.” – Cyrus the Great

Dive into this groundbreaking work and discover how strategic thinking can transform not only your life but the world around you.

This is the Enligh edition of the Spanish version Estrategia. El Conocimiento Secreto de Alejandro Magno and I was waiting for this publication because I’m curious to read it. What I don’t know is how much this book is specifically about Alexander the Great. From the Index visible on the extract available on Amazon we can see that yes, there are parts that deal with Alexander but there are also many that don’t talk about him or at least don’t have him as the protagonist. Is Alexander’s multifaceted acuity the keystone of the strategies proposed in this book or is it used only as a catchy title to entice a greater number of readers? I don’t know but I hope to tell you soon because it will be a reading that I will do anyway but it seemed right to tell you about my doubt from the beginning.

If I can, when I’ll buy the book I’ll update the article so as to give you some more certainty right away.

Thank you all and have a good evening,
